Urgent Hire

We have a key client (MNC) in the market for a mid-level lawyer to join an established team for a growth project. This is an APAC coverage role which includes key countries such as China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Korea, Malaysia and Australia.

Focus of Work

• Corporate: 50%
• Commercial: 50%

Job Description

• The role will support the Head of Legal on a variety of corporate and commercial matters in the APAC region.
• Corporate work involves supporting business units with ongoing transactions such as M&A, JVs and Fundraisings.
• Commercial work includes negotiating agreements, disputes, operational support, governance and compliance.

Requirements

• 5 - 10 PQE (guideline)
• Education and Law Firm credentials should be at a high level
• Experience in both law firms and In-House essential
• Background in areas such as JVs, Fundraising and Disputes would be seen as preferred
• Due to the exposure of the role regionally, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are required
