We are working with a well-regarded law firm that is looking to expand its Dispute Resolution team with the addition of a Junior Associate.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer who is keen to build a strong foundation in contentious work, with exposure to restructuring and insolvency-related disputes.
The Role
You will be involved in a broad range of litigation matters, including:
- Commercial and civil disputes
- Contentious restructuring and insolvency matters (including creditor/debtor disputes, enforcement and advisory work)
- Legal research, drafting submissions, and supporting partners on active matters
- Working closely with senior lawyers on complex cases from an early stage
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with 1 to 4 PQE (or equivalent)
- Training or early experience in litigation and dispute resolution
- Exposure to or a genuine interest in contentious restructuring and insolvency work would be advantageous
- Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced team environment
