Key Responsibilities:
Corporate & Commercial Legal Support
- Draft, review, and assist in negotiating commercial agreements (e.g., service, sales, licensing, employment contracts).
- Support corporate governance initiatives and internal policy development.
- Conduct legal research and provide preliminary advice on Singapore and regional regulations.
Cross-Border & Corporate Transactions Support
- Assist in legal due diligence and documentation for cross-border projects and corporate transactions.
- Support company incorporation, amendments, shareholder/board matters, and regulatory filings in Singapore or overseas subsidiaries.
Compliance & Data Protection
- Support development and implementation of internal compliance frameworks (e.g., anti-bribery, conflicts of interest, whistleblowing, data protection).
- Provide guidance on PDPA and other data protection regulations.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with external counsel and internal teams to ensure alignment with legal requirements.
- Support management in regulatory and contractual matters.
Job Requirements:
- Master of Laws or from a recognised institution.
- 2-4 years of legal experience in corporate, commercial, compliance, or in-house roles (experience in multinational or cross-border environments preferred).
- Knowledge of corporate law, commercial contracts, compliance frameworks, and cross-border legal matters.
- Strong drafting and analytical skills in English proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and liaise effectively with stakeholders.
