We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Associate to join our growing team. This role is ideal for candidates with a solid foundation in litigation and a strong interest in criminal and family law matters.
Key Responsibilities
Litigation & Case Management
- Assist in handling criminal, family, and civil litigation matters
- Draft pleadings, affidavits, submissions, and legal correspondence
- Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries
- Attend court hearings, mentions, and trials (where applicable)
Client Advisory
- Liaise with clients and provide legal advice under supervision
- Take instructions and assist in developing case strategies
- Maintain strong client relationships and high service standards
Documentation & Compliance
- Review and prepare legal documents, contracts, and agreements
- Ensure compliance with procedural rules and court timelines
- Manage case files and maintain proper documentation
Requirements
- Qualified to practise law in Singapore
- Called to the Singapore Bar (or eligible to be called)
- Strong interest in Criminal Law, Family Law, and Civil Litigation
- Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years PQE (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
- Prior experience or internships in litigation practice
- Familiarity with Singapore court procedures
