We are seeking a committed Divorce Lawyer to join our growing team. This role offers meaningful exposure to family law practice, with hands-on involvement in both contentious and non-contentious matters, and the opportunity to make a real difference in clients lives during challenging times.
Responsibilities
- Manage divorce and family law cases by handling contested and uncontested proceedings to achieve favorable client outcomes
- Represent clients effectively in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations to protect their legal interests
- Draft clear and persuasive legal documents including pleadings, affidavits, submissions, and settlement agreements to support case strategies
- Provide tailored legal advice on matrimonial, custody, maintenance, and asset division issues that addresses clients unique circumstances
- Deliver empathetic, practical, and commercially sound counsel to support clients through complex family law matters
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement timely, effective, and client-centric legal solutions
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proficiency in Mandarin to facilitate communication with Mandarin-speaking clients and enhance client engagement
- Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills demonstrated through preparation of family law documents and case analysis
- Excellent written and spoken English to ensure clear communication and documentation
- Empathetic, solution-oriented mindset with emotional intelligence applied to family law practice
- Ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail and responsibility, as well as collaboratively within a team
