About the Opportunity
Adecco is partnering with a fast-growing technology organisation operating within the AI infrastructure and cloud computing space. As the business continues to expand across international markets, they are looking for a commercially minded legal professional to support the organisation's regional growth.
This is a broad in-house legal role covering commercial contracts, corporate governance, regulatory compliance and cross-border matters, with opportunities to work closely with senior business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide practical legal advice on commercial and operational matters across the business.
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements with customers, suppliers and business partners.
- Support corporate governance activities for Singapore and overseas entities.
- Assist with board and shareholder matters, corporate documentation and statutory requirements.
- Develop and maintain legal and compliance policies and processes.
- Support KYC, due diligence and compliance reviews involving customers, vendors and business partners.
- Advise on legal and regulatory considerations relating to cross-border business activities.
- Partner with commercial, technical and operational teams to identify and manage legal risks.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel across different jurisdictions.
- Monitor relevant regulatory developments and provide practical guidance to the business.
- Support legal matters relating to technology, cloud infrastructure, data privacy and international operations.
Requirements
- Law degree from a recognised university.
- Legal qualification in Singapore, the UK, Australia or another common law jurisdiction would be advantageous.
- 5-10+ years of relevant legal experience, including meaningful in-house exposure.
- Strong experience in commercial contract drafting, review and negotiation.
- Experience supporting regional or international business operations.
- Good understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance and legal risk management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to provide practical, commercially focused legal advice.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working independently in a fast-paced environment.
