This innovative postgraduate programme is at the forefront of advancing evidence-based prevention, precision health, and lifestyle medicine through education, research, and professional training. The programme brings together nutrition science, physical activity, behavioural medicine, sleep health, stress management, and risk reduction to equip future healthcare leaders with the tools to improve health span and reduce chronic disease burden.

Position Overview
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth and academic excellence of a pioneering Master of Science programme (MSc) at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. The successful candidate will work closely with programme leadership, faculty, and partners to strengthen teaching, curriculum innovation, student engagement, and research impact.
Appointment level will be
Lecturer or
Senior Lecturer, depending on the candidate's track record in teaching, leadership, and scholarly achievements.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, teach, and evaluate modules MSc in Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine Program across areas such as nutrition, culinary medicine, exercise as medicine, obesity management, preventive medicine, behavioural change, sleep, stress, and precision nutrition.
- Deliver engaging teaching across postgraduate, executive, and continuing professional education formats.
- Supervise and mentor students in capstone projects, applied learning, and research activities.
- Support admissions, student engagement, programme promotion, and stakeholder partnerships.
- Contribute to conferences, workshops, webinars, and outreach initiatives that strengthen programme visibility and impact.
- Participate actively in interdisciplinary research aligned with nutrition, lifestyle medicine, preventive health, or related areas.
- Foster collaborations with healthcare institutions, industry, public health bodies, and international academic partners.
Applicants Should Have
- PhD, MD, MBBS, or equivalent doctoral qualification in Medicine, Nutrition, Dietetics, Exercise Science, Public Health, Allied Health, Behavioural Science, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated teaching experience in higher education or professional training.
- Strong interest in preventive health, nutrition, healthy aging, and lifestyle medicine.
- Experience in curriculum development or programme leadership is advantageous.
- Proven record of publications, presentations, or professional impact in relevant fields.
- Experience supervising students or mentoring professionals is desirable.
