[What the role is]
You will be working in the School of Applied Science to plan, develop and teach food science and technology specialised learning units for Pre-Employment Training (PET) or Continuing Education and Training (CET) learners.
[What you will be working on]
- Responsible for curriculum development and delivery, project supervision, assessment setting and marking for Pre-Employment Training (PET) or Continuing Education and Training (CET).
- Coach and mentor students and be involved in student development activities beyond the classroom.
- Collaborate with industry to enhance students learning.
- Participate in committees and contribute to administrative/ management tasks
[What we are looking for]
- Relevant qualification in Food Science & Technology or related degree
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience in food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Exposure to food business development and marketing will be an added advantage.
- Passionate about training, mentoring and motivating youth and adult learners
- Proficient in IT applications. Familiarity with data analytics and AI tools will be an added advantage.
- People-oriented individual with strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Keen interest in developing new capabilities through projects and self-learning
