About The Data Literacy Programme (DLP)
The DLP is a key initiative designed to equip NUS administrative employees and participants from external organizations with critical data analytics skills, including artificial intelligence and machine learning. As part of this programme, you'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact by developing data analytics skills and preparing the workforce to thrive in an increasingly data-driven world.
Position Details
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join us as Lecturer or Senior Lecturer for a three-year, full-time commitment. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking programme in one of the world's top universities.
What You'll Do
As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer In The DLP, You Will:
- Develop innovative and engaging teaching materials that bring AI and machine learning concepts to life.
- Create dynamic and interactive eLearning videos to reach a wider audience.
- Design challenging assessments that test and sharpen learners analytical skills.
- Facilitate stimulating classroom discussions and lead hands-on sessions with diverse learners.
- Offer one-on-one consultations to help learners grasp complex concepts and excel.
- Supervise group projects that allow learners to apply their skills in real-world contexts.
- Contribute to the academic community through service activities and collaborative projects.

Qualifications
What We're Looking For
We Welcome Applicants With a Variety Of Academic Backgrounds Who Share Our Passion For Data Literacy And AI And Have The Right Qualifications:
- At least a Master's degree in data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field (other fields may be considered on a case-by-case basis).
- While teaching experience is a plus, we value enthusiasm and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
- A collaborative mindsetyou thrive working in teams and supporting learners.
Skills That Give You An Edge
We are especially interested in candidates with experience in:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) Knowledge of cutting-edge AI technologies is a huge advantage.
- Machine Learning Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques.
- Work Experience Industry work experience in cutting edge AI projects
- Python/R Programming Proficiency in Python/R is highly valued in our programme.
- Data Visualization Being able to make data insightful and compelling is a key skill. A passion for working with adult learners and the ability to tailor teaching to learners from different backgrounds.
