Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (Autonomous Perception & AI) - Sch of Engineering

[What the role is]

You will support the school to train, share relevant knowledge and hands-on experience, in physical & embodied AI technology domain, with learners (both full-time and part-time) and working with other colleagues to contribute and expand your relevant expertise to strengthen NYP's industry capability for innovation.

[What you will be working on]

. Deliver competency-based teaching in Physical & Embodied AI, autonomous systems, embedded electronics & IoT and other relevant learning units.

. Support curriculum development and continuous review to ensure relevance to emerging embodied AI technologies and industry demand

. Design and facilitate hands-on laboratory work, projects, involving robotics, autonomous systems, and intelligent machines

[What we are looking for]

. Contribute to capability building in applied AI, robotics, and autonomous systems within the institution

. Collaborate with industry partners on technology development, prototyping, testing, and deployment of embodied/physical AI solutions.

. Lead and contribute to applied R&D projects in embodied intelligence & IoT, autonomous system, robotics, and cyber-physical AI systems.
