Lecturer (Common Engineering Programme) / School of Engineering
[What you will be working on]
- Teach Electronic Prototyping, Embedded Systems Programming, and at least one additional discipline (e.g. Analogue & Digital Circuits, Physics, or AI/Machine Learning).
- Prepare and deliver subject materials, assignments, and assessments review and enhance curriculum design, delivery, and assessment effectiveness.
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, and student consultations, including meeting SAR147 requirements where required for Aerospace teaching.
- Track and maintain student attendance participate in subject review and team meetings.
- Stay current with industry and educational developments through engagement with industry and professional communities.
- Participate in staff and/or student projects with industry partners.
- Take on additional duties as required (e.g. student competition training, outreach activities, club advisor or programme coordination roles).
[What we are looking for]
- Qualification in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong technical competence in at least two of the following areas:
- Product design and prototyping
- PCB design and fabrication
- Analogue and digital systems
- Embedded systems
- AI / Machine Learning
- Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- A team player with good communication skills and a strong interest in engaging students.
- Able to work independently, multitask effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
