[What the role is]
Lecturer (Business Process & Systems)/ School of Engineering
[What you will be working on]
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, and laboratory classes across relevant subjects
- Design, review, and enhance course and subject materials to ensure alignment with academic standards and industry relevance
- Develop and implement engaging online teaching resources to support diverse learning styles
- Supervise student internships, final-year projects, and other academic assignments
- Collaborate with industry partners to enrich student learning through industry visits, guest lectures, and overseas programs
- Provide occasional support for evening classes as required
[What we are looking for]
- Qualifications in Industrial Systems Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Industry experience in process and productivity improvement, with practical knowledge in applying data analytics, process automation, supply chain management, and/or generative AI (highly desirable)
- Certification, such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Six Sigma, or Project Management Professional (PMP) is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and tools, as well as knowledge in Data Analytics, Sustainability Management, and Supply Chain Management
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
- Demonstrates integrative thinking and the ability to connect insights across multiple disciplines
- Adaptable and versatile, with a passion for working in dynamic and innovative environments
- Enthusiastic about mentoring and engaging with young adults
- Self-driven and capable of working independently to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes
