About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Leasing Manager to spearhead our leasing strategy. This role is pivotal in shaping our properties tenancy mix to optimize rental income and drive foot traffic to our properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and implement leasing strategies tailored to our individual properties.
- Source, evaluate, and secure tenants that align with our properties unique positioning and customer demographics.
- Lead end-to-end lease negotiations, including renewals and amendments, to optimize occupancy and rental income.
- Stay ahead of retail trends and competitor activity to inform tenant mix and leasing direction.
- Partner with internal teams (legal, tenancy coordination, operations, marketing) to ensure seamless tenant onboarding and fit-out.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, fostering long-term collaboration and performance.
- Monitor tenant sales and recommend adjustments to the tenancy mix to enhance footfall and revenue.
Requirements
- Degree in Real Estate, Business, Hospitality, or a related discipline preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in retail leasing.
- Strong negotiation skills and familiarity with technical leasing requirements (e.g., exhaust, grease trap, utilities) and regulatory requirements).
- Strong grasp of drafting tenancy documentation and clauses.
- Well-connected within the retail industry with strong awareness of local market trends.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactive and independent with strong problem-solving skills.
