Job Overview
You will be responsible for all commercial office and retail leasing within the Group, with emphasis on Australia and the UK.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop and implement leasing business plans, strategies, and tenant mix.
- Oversee full lease management operations and track leasing progress.
- Maximize rental income, occupancy, and space utilization across properties.
- Ensure rental budgets are reviewed and met.
- Lead lease renewal negotiations and foster strong landlord-tenant relationships.
- Develop and implement tenant retention strategies to reduce vacancy rates.
- Oversee tenant onboarding and ensure compliance with lease terms.
- Analyze tenants trading performance and manage rental arrears in collaboration with Finance Team.
- Provide regular reports on leasing performance, market conditions, and financial forecasting.
- Conduct market analysis to adjust leasing strategies and monitor trends.
- Proactively manage risks related to lease agreements, tenant defaults, and legal issues.
- Manage leasing agents and coordinate leasing activities.
- Ensure leased properties comply with safety, zoning, and building regulations
Requirements
- Degree in Real Estate Management, Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent
- Minimally 5 years of retail and commercial leasing experience.
- Good understanding of the commercial office and retail industry and trend.
- Excellent analytical, presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
- Driven, highly motivated by success and independent, assertive, diligent and able to handle work pressure well
- Some travelling is expected
