Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Alignment & Needs Analysis

  • Consultative Diagnosis: Partner with senior business leaders and HRBPs to run structured needs analyses, identifying capability gaps and diagnosing root-cause performance challenges.
  • Business Acumen: Deeply understand the BUCF's business model and operations, translating them into actionable, high-ROI L&D solutions.

2. Learning Strategy & Execution

  • Enterprise Roadmap: Design and implement FPG's L&D roadmap aligned to overall business goals, fostering a growth mindset and embedding customer-centric and operational excellence skills.
  • Leadership and Core Skills Capabilities: Develop and execute programs that build core and future-ready skillsets, including leadership, strategic thinking and change management capabilities.

3. Vendor & Partnership Governance

  • Ecosystem Management: Manage and evaluate external training partners (e.g. LHub) to deliver customized, outcome-driven training programmes.
  • Programme Oversight: Oversee programme design, scheduling, budget utilization, and standardizing program administration across FPG.

4. Innovation, Tech Adoption & Analytics

  • Learning Tech & AI: Curate emerging learning technologies (e.g., AI-enhanced content, gamified learning, LMS/LXP platforms) and build AI fluency across the workforce.
  • Data-Driven ROI: Leverage data analytics to evaluate learning effectiveness, assess ROI, and personalize learning experiences.

Key Skills & Attributes

  • Strategic Influence: Ability to absorb complex industry details, challenge assumptions, and communicate L&D plans in clear business language to influence Senior Management and Line Leaders.
  • Analytical Problem Solving: A strong capacity for identifying root causes combined with excellent interpersonal skills to build effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Project Governance: Highly capable of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects (e.g., E2E Staff Onboarding, Leadership Programmes) from inception to deployment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7–15 years of progressive experience in L&D, talent development, or HR business partnering, preferably in large or customer-facing retail organizations.
  • Proven track record in designing and delivering enterprise learning programs across multiple employee segments.
  • Experience in instructional design; ACTA/ACLP certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong familiarity with digital learning platforms (LMS/LXP), learning analytics, and technology-enabled/AI-driven learning design.
