Job Description



Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the business to understand the mandatory learning requirements, working with business to agree the prioritization and how the learning will be implemented with resource/budget available.
  • Managing and executing all aspects of training, including communication and administrative tasks.
  • Oversee the required mandatory training programs ensuring they remain aligned to appropriate standards.
  • Monitoring and evaluating training programs to continuously improve their effectiveness.
  • Manage the relationship with external training professionals brought in to develop and deliver training solutions.
  • Promote and advocate learning opportunities, across group audiences.


Requirements:
  • 3 years+ working experience in a similar role (training or L&D).
  • Experience in competence frameworks and assessments.
  • Experience in EU funding for training considered an asset.
  • Experience in working in a manufacturing and unionized working environment (asset).
  • Experience in using HR/training software and O365 applications (Excel, PowerPoint, PowerApps, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of adult instructional design, training methodologies, learning theory and principles.
  • Be people-oriented and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to deliver effective training sessions.
  • Mandatory language: Fluent in written and spoken English.
