Ready to make an impact while learning new skills Join us for an exciting internship where you will help shape learning experiences, support education projects across NCIS. As an education, learning and development intern, you will not be running errands or taking notes you will be right in the action, helping to shape how healthcare professionals learn, grow and thrive. You will be working with different stakeholders to design, coordinate, and enhance educational programmes that support healthcare professionals and be given the exposure to project coordination, and curriculum development.

Here at the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS), it is a leading comprehensive cancer centre dedicated to clinical excellence, research, and education. Education is a key pillar of NCIS, supporting the development of healthcare professionals, researchers, patients, caregivers, and the broader oncology community.

Key responsibilities:

Bring ideas to life

Support the rollout of the NCIS Education Workplan, aligning fun, structured learning opportunities with institutional goals.

Brainstorm ideas with education clinical lead and different stakeholders within NCIS.

Shape Learning Journeys

Help design education roadmaps covering clinical, research, and patient-focused initiatives and projects.

Coordinate Education Programs Across NCIS Departments

Work closely with different NCIS teams (clinical, research, nursing, allied health) to schedule, organise and support education and training activities.

Assist in logistics planning (eg. Programme schedule, publicity materials, registration and feedback collation).

Ensure smooth communication between stakeholders to keep programmes running efficiently.

Develop Tracking & Evaluation Systems for Education Programs

Help create tools to monitor programme participation.

Collect feedback from educational programmes and suggest improvements.

Content Development & Digital Learning Support

Assist in developing educational resources such as slides, digital content.

Explore new digital tools or platforms that can enhance educational learning delivery

Support Education Strategy & Stakeholder Engagement

Work closely with the L&D Clinical Lead and NCIS leadership to support strategic planning discussions on education.

Provide administrative support for accreditation processes, funding applications, and institutional reporting related to education programs.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Science, or related fields.

Passionate about education, training program development, and professional learning.

Interest in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with Canva, adobe.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise across various departments and professional levels.
