Job Description

Learning & Development (L&D)

  • Develop and implement learning & development strategies to support the achievement of organizational objectives, aligning the framework to prevailing national standards that reflect industry best practices.
  • Plan, deliver and accountable to operate a successful set-up of Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Identify training needs and develop a training plan based on Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) for the staff members in consultation with Department Heads and the Reporting Officer.
  • Co-ordinate and organize training programs and related activities.
  • Conduct in-house training such as employee orientation.
  • Main driver of Learning Management System to drive learning in the company and keep up-to-date training records and administration. Administer e-learning, including motivating staff to complete e-learning courses, handle system administration and meet targets.
  • Present training plans, statistics and updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update training activities via various platforms such as corporate newsletter.
  • Provide pre & post training administration, inclusive but not limited to registration, grant application, finance processes, training records updating, course evaluation, tracking, monitoring of course completion and monitoring of training budget spent.
  • Maintain and update shared department drive, folders and files.

Talent Management (TM)

  • Create and develop career progression and succession planning strategy for the organization as part of the internal mobility, reskilling, and retention plan. Define criterions to identify and assess talent and formulate initiatives to facilitate talent development.
  • Partner with business stakeholders & HRBPs to fulfil immediate to long-term talent needs through talent identification, talent development and talent engagement. Identify gaps in talent pool and formulate strategies to address them.
  • Actively engage with superstar talents, educational institutions, recruitment firms and employee referrals to build a strong pipeline and employer brand.

Engagement

  • Design and execute engagement programme to strengthen staff engagement and improve staff productivity.
  • Build people resilience by inculcating a positive mindset through the promotion of workplace wellbeing.
  • Work closely with HR Business Partner, establish workplace well-being framework to increase the awareness of mental health wellbeing to promote a positive mindset, enhance employee productivity and satisfaction leading to higher retention.
  • Prepare and send out staff communications and reports.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in relevant studies from a recognized institution.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word & Powerpoint).
  • Comfortable managing learning systems, and e-learning including virtual training software
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Ability to resolve issues independently
  • Able to interact well with both internal and external stakeholders
