Role Overview:

  • Partners with Sales, Commercial Operations, Finance and Technical teams to shape regional deal strategy and structure proposals aligned with business objectives and customer requirements.

  • Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.

  • Leads others to find creative solutions to address complex projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.

  • May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view. Influences peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.

  • Leads the implementation of FLIGHT DECK to standardize and streamline processes.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate provides guidance and thought leadership on complex deal structuring and negotiations, upholds commercial policies and pricing frameworks, and supports direct customer negotiations on significant campaigns in partnership with Sales. The ideal candidate interprets external business challenges and data-driven insights to recommend best practices, rigorously evaluates information quality using diverse internal and external resources, and may lead functional teams or projects while effectively communicating complex messages to influence internal stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of experience in Product Management & Operations, Risk, and/or Deal Factory in the Aerospace industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

  • Experience in leveraging FLIGHT DECK to improve processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change, foster collaboration, and drive innovative solutions in complex environments.

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
