Our client is a global leader in manufacturing of specialty chemical. This well recognised brand is recruiting a Production Manager to join their dynamic team.
about the job
- Responsible for planning, organizing and controlling of all production-related activities
- Ensure operations adhere to operating procedures, quality and safety requirements
- Review the operation of plant equipments and systems constantly
- Monitor, report, develop and implement improvement programs
- Lead a team to maximize productivity
- Collaborate to improve process, performance and management efficiency
- Support and participate in the EHS programs
- Support the Continuous Improvement programs
skills & experience required
- Master / Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in chemical manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and processes on VSM, Kaizen
- Able to be hands on with the ground level personnel on the shop floor
- Well versed with lean manufacturing
- Willing to work in the west of Singapore (Tuas area)
- Comfortable in a new start up plant environment
