Leading Financial Services Group, M&A Advisory - Analyst / Senior Analyst

Our Client is a leading financial services group with an established and growing geographical footprint. They are growing their M&A advisory franchise, and seeking to add an Analyst / Senior Analyst to the team in Singapore. The broad responsibilities include, amongst others, the following:-

- Target Identification and Market Research: Identify potential acquisition or merger targets, conduct industry and market analysis, and assess strategic fit

- Financial Analysis and Valuation: Build financial models, perform company valuations, analyse historical financials, assess earnings quality, working capital, and deal risks.

- Deal Structuring and Negotiation: Assist in structuring transactions, drafting agreements such as SPAs, and participating in negotiations with clients and counterparties

- Presentation and Reporting: Prepare pitch books, presentations, and reports summarizing financial analysis, transaction implications, and strategic recommendations for senior management or clients.

- Project Management: Oversee transaction timelines, coordinate internal and external resources, and ensure smooth communication across teams

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields

- 1-3 years of relevant experience in M&A advisory or valuation fresh graduates with strong internship experience are welcome to apply

- Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis strong Excel and financial software skills

- Analytical Abilities: Ability to interpret complex financial statements, identify trend s, and provide actionable insights

- Communication and Negotiation: Strong verbal and written communication skills to present findings, negotiate deals, and liaise with stakeholders

- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining confidentiality
