We're hiring Cooks to support our Nyonya (Peranakan) / Chinese / Asian kitchen where recipes are respected, teamwork matters, and quality always comes first.
If you take pride in your wok control, your seasoning instincts, and your ability to turn simple ingredients into something crave-worthy, you'll fit right in.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and cook a variety of Nyonya / Asian / Chinese dishes.
- Handle and portion raw poultry safely and efficiently, following hygiene standards.
- Maintain consistency in taste, colour, and presentation according to company recipes.
- Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily mise en place and service readiness.
- Ensure proper cleaning, storage, and temperature control of ingredients.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with SFA food hygiene regulations.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to cook either Eurasian / Malay / Nyonya / Chinese Cuisine
- Confident handling of chicken cutting, marination, and stir-fry preparation.
- Knowledge of sauces, heat control, and wok timing essential.
- Team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred to liaise with kitchen staff.
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
