Lead Technical Manager (Security Systems)

Lead and manage the delivery of security system service, maintenance, and technical operations by overseeing a team of Technical Officers responsible for CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and related security technologies. This role is ideal for experienced engineering leaders who enjoy managing technical teams, driving customer satisfaction, and ensuring operational excellence across service and maintenance projects.

About the Role

The Singapore team is seeking a Lead Technical Manager to oversee service operations, maintenance delivery, and technical team performance for electronic security systems. You will be responsible for managing service workflows, client relationships, resource planning, team leadership, and ensuring all maintenance commitments are delivered efficiently and professionally.

This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys leading technical teams, managing customer expectations, driving operational improvements, and supporting the long-term success of security system deployments.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead and oversee the entire service and maintenance workflow for security systems including CCTV, ACS, IDS, and related technologies

- Manage and supervise a team of Technical Officers to ensure efficient service delivery and performance

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients on all service and maintenance-related matters

- Develop service plans, allocate resources, define skill requirements, and monitor project milestones

- Coordinate day-to-day client interactions and manage customer expectations effectively

- Ensure maintenance commitments are delivered on time and in accordance with contractual requirements

- Handle customer concerns, escalations, and complaints professionally

- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, methodologies, and technical capabilities

- Maintain and enhance documentation of infrastructure components, service procedures, and operational processes

- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective customers

- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to team members

- Establish performance targets, implement operational guidelines, and support team development initiatives

- Participate in performance reviews, training programs, and career development planning

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive service excellence and customer satisfaction

Security Systems & Service Operations (Preferred)

- Experience managing service and maintenance operations for CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, or integrated security systems

- Strong understanding of security system operations, troubleshooting, and technical support processes

- Experience managing customer-facing service teams and handling escalations

- Familiarity with service planning, resource allocation, and operational performance tracking

- Exposure to integrated building technologies and security infrastructure

What We're Looking For

- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline

- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience with a proven track record of technical and operational leadership

- Strong leadership, team management, and organizational capabilities

- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and client requirements simultaneously

- Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive and customer-focused approach

- Ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical functions

- Team-oriented individual with strong initiative and ownership

Preferred (Added Advantage)

- Experience within the security systems, CCTV, access control, or electronic security industry

- Exposure to service management, maintenance contracts, and customer support operations

- Knowledge of integrated security technologies and system lifecycle management

- Experience driving process improvements and team development initiatives

- Strong client relationship management and business development exposure
