Lead System Solution Architect (Integrated Hardware & Software Systems)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Lead System Solution Architect to own and deliver end-to-end architecture for integrated hardware and software systems deployed across multiple sites. This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, covering POS/kiosk workflows, backend services, web portals, mobile applications, and field devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Own system architecture across devices, POS/kiosks, backend, web, and mobile platforms

• Lead technical delivery, identifying risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans

• Design secure and reliable POS/kiosk workflows, including offline or degraded modes

• Define APIs, data models, and integration patterns with third-party systems

• Ensure high availability, performance, security, and operational resilience

• Lead architecture reviews, mentor engineers, and guide vendors/partners

Requirements

• 8-12+ years of experience in solution architecture or system design with end-to-end delivery ownership

• Prior people leadership or technical team management experience

• Hands-on experience with field-deployed or hardware-enabled systems (e.g. POS, kiosks, automated/self-service, IoT, system integration platforms)

• Strong knowledge of backend systems (Java and/or .NET), modern web frameworks (e.g. React), and Android applications

• Experience with REST APIs, distributed systems, databases, and integration middleware

• Strong stakeholder communication and design leadership skills
