Job Description

The Lead (Sustainability) provides strategic leadership in advancing sustainability capabilities through strong industry partnerships, applied consultancy, and professional education. The role is responsible for engaging industry stakeholders to lead and drive staff consultancy projects and student paid projects, while leading the development and delivery of high-quality Continuing Education and Training (CET) programmes in sustainability.

[What you will be working on]

Responsibilities:-

. Lead the design,development, and delivery of CET sustainability courses. Create quality courseware (slides, activities, assessments) and facilitate engaging learning experiences for adult learners and industry participants, aligned to SP's CET requirements.

. Provide operations and administration support for sustainability programmes, including industry engagement/advisory, meetings, learning journeys/webinars, as well as industry events and tradeshows.

. Lead and coordinate sustainability consultancy projects through operational execution, attending to internal and external stakeholders, client/trainee support while contributing as a consultant/trainer that complements SP team.

[What we are looking for]

Requirements:-

  • Relevant qualifications in Environmental Science/ Engineering or related discipline.
  • Relevant teaching qualifications such ACTA or ACLP.
  • Have knowledge and experience to support businesses in low carbon and/or net zero transitions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in guiding businesses through the preparation of sustainability reports aligned with recognised standards and frameworks.
  • Passionate about education and possess strong interest in teaching andmentoring industries and students.
  • Self-driven, independent and possess readiness to work as a team.
  • People-oriented individual with strong interpersonal, written and communication skills.
  • Candidates with the following will have an added advantage: Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP) or Green Mark Advanced Accredited Professional (GMAAP) and IFRS Certified Accountant or its equivalent.
  • Relevant work experience in Facilities Management, preferably with experience in the planning of preventive, routine, and/ or predictive maintenance of building systems.

Successful candidate will be offered a temporary contract role of up to 11.5 months.
