Conduct global structural analyses, including Ultimate Limit State (ULS), Accidental Limit State (ALS), and global fatigue analyses (FLS) for fixed and floating offshore platforms.
Develop structural design specifications and provide precise fabrication and construction guidelines.
Prepare detailed structural analysis reports for foundations, support structures, lifting operations, sea fastening, load-out, and dry/wet tow operations, ensuring adherence to classification society standards.
Perform collision analyses to evaluate structural impacts and propose mitigation strategies.
Coordinate with classification societies for design and analysis approvals.
Ensure structural designs comply with offshore wind industry standards and health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural designs with other engineering disciplines.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers to ensure quality and timely project deliverables.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or Civil Engineering (minimum).
At least 10 years of experience in Marine & Offshore projects, including conceptual studies, FEED, and detailed design.
Proficiency in finite element methods and engineering software such as SESAM, SACS, etc.
Experience or knowledge in wind farm foundations, offshore substations/structures, and floating wind design/analysis is highly desirable.
Strong leadership abilities, with a commitment to personal and team development.
Excellent team player with strong communication skills for interactions with clients and third parties.
Familiarity with marine and offshore industry standards and codes.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and effective interpersonal abilities.
