About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead to help grow our Singapore engineering team. This role is hands-on and highly technical, with a strong focus on individual contribution alongside close collaboration with product teams. You will provide technical direction, translate product vision into scalable solutions, and serve as a foundational team member as the local engineering presence expands. The Singapore team plays a critical role in advancing product initiatives across global time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact software development, leveraging modern Gen AI-assisted code generation practices
• Own technical delivery from concept through deployment and release
• Partner closely with product managers to assess feasibility and enable seamless user experiences
• Review pull requests to ensure code quality, system stability, and to mentor team members
• Design and implement innovative technical solutions to complex, ambiguous problems

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Python, Go, Rust, or a similar object-oriented language
• 3+ years of experience with React
• 3+ years working with data warehouses such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift
• Proven experience building and operating distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g. Terraform)
• Strong background in designing and optimizing APIs, data pipelines, SQL queries, and supporting infrastructure
• Experience with event-driven architectures and technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Deep understanding of software engineering best practices, including system design, version control, CI/CD, testing, and code reviews
