The Role
We're looking for an exceptional Full Stack Developer to join our founding team. In this role, you'll be responsible for building the core application infrastructure and user interface that powers the autonomous trading platform. You'll work closely with our Quant/ML Engineer and CEO to create a seamless, high-performance trading system that connects to exchanges, executes trades, and delivers an intuitive experience to users.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the trading platform - Build the complete technology stack from user interface to backend systems (MVP exists)
- Own the technical architecture - Design and implement scalable, secure systems for trading operations
- Create a seamless user experience - Develop an intuitive interface that makes AI trading accessible to traders of all levels
- Implement exchange integrations - Build connections to cryptocurrency exchanges for market data and trade execution
- Collaborate with the quant team - Work closely to integrate trading models and ensure effective operation of the AI agents
- Establish development practices - Set up the engineering processes, testing frameworks, and deployment pipelines
- Drive technical decisions - Make key technology choices that balance speed, quality, and long-term scalability
Required
- 5+ years of experience in full stack development
- Experience building financial or trading applications in crypto
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend language (Node.js, Python, etc.)
- Experience building responsive, data-intensive web applications
- Understanding of API design and integration patterns
- Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL)
- Experience with real-time data processing and visualization
- Strong understanding of security best practices
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment
Preferred
- Knowledge of cryptocurrency exchange APIs
- Experience with WebSockets for real-time data
- Familiarity with chart libraries and data visualization tools
Experience with decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and smart contracts
Experience with wallet integrations and Web3 authentication
- Familiarity with blockchain development (Ethereum, Solana, or similar)
- Understanding of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of how to integrate with ML models and AI services
- Experience building interfaces for AI-powered applications
