Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor Structural Engineers, providing technical guidance and support in transportation and installation engineering.
Structural Integrity Studies: Perform and supervise structural integrity studies for offshore structures during pre-service, ensuring safety and compliance with relevant standards.
Transportation & Seafastening Design: Design and analyze grillage & seafastening arrangements for transportation of structures (jacket/piles/topsides), ensuring structural integrity during transit and compliance with specifications and standards.
Installation Engineering: Conduct lifting analyses, rigging calculations, lifting point local checks, barge outfitting design, piles driveability assessments, and miscellaneous installation aids design.
Decommissioning Projects: Participate in the engineering analysis and design for decommissioning activities, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
Project Management: Develop Cost-Time Resource (CTR) estimates and Master Deliverables Register (MDR) furnish progress reports to project management, highlighting concerns and recommendations.
Software Proficiency: Utilize software tools such as SACS, STAAD PRO, ABAQUS, ANSYS, and FEMAP for structural analysis and design tasks.
Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including marine, mechanical, and project engineers, to ensure integrated project execution.
Documentation: Write and review engineering reports, specifications, drawings and installation procedures, ensuring clarity and accuracy
Quality Assurance: Conduct peer reviews of engineering deliverables to ensure high standards of quality and accuracy.
Client and Surveyor Interaction: Coordinate with Clients and Marine Warranty Surveyors to achieve deliverables approvals throughout the project lifecycle.
Tender and Bids Preparation: Prepare tender and bid studies, including fleet suitability checks, basic procedures, MTO estimations and installation method statements.
Operational Support: Provide support during yard loadout and offshore operations as required by clients, ensuring smooth execution of activities.
Business Unit Support: Assist the Business Unit Manager as needed, contributing to strategic planning and project delivery
