What The Role Is
You will be responsible for the security and facility programs that support the ministry's operations and emergency responses.
You will be responsible for the formulation and implementation of the ministry's security policy on classified information and physical infrastructure, emergency response plans, and business continuity plans.
You may be rotated across various facility programs covering tenancy management, mechanical & electrical engineering, or security services. You would also have the opportunity to be involved in key infrastructure development projects.
You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
To excel in this role, you must possess good written, analytical, and presentation skills. Familiarity with government's security policy/ framework and operating environment is essential. Experience in security, tender, contract, or construction management, will be advantageous.
What You Will Be Working On
You will:
- Conduct cost benefit analysis to develop cost-effective proposals, and prepare presentations, and funding papers.
- Engage Senior Management and key stakeholders for buy-in on the proposals.
- Formulate and operationalise the ministry's security policy, emergency plans, and business continuity plan with the latest requirements, threats consideration, and operating environment.
- Oversee facility programs and contracts, including the procurement of related services/ works/ goods.
- Support key development projects in the security, mechanical & electrical engineering, or procurement scope.
- Engage the MOH workforce to obtain feedback, and champion change management.
What We Are Looking For
- Degree in security studies / public safety, project & facility management, contract/ procurement management, mechanical /electrical engineering, information technology, or related fields
- Good written, presentation, and people skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
- Good analytical and time management skills
- Enjoy working in a team setting and fast-paced environment
- Preferably 5 years of relevant work experience
