Roles & Responsibilities:-- Lead the design, implementation, and governance of security and compliance controls for cloud-based platforms.
- Ensure compliance with applicable security standards, regulatory requirements, and organisational policies.
- Implement data privacy controls, including protection, masking, anonymisation, and secure handling of sensitive information.
- Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability reviews, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Support security audits, compliance assessments, and accreditation activities by preparing required documentation and evidence.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, engineering, and development teams to embed security best practices throughout the platform lifecycle.
- Monitor platform security posture, investigate security issues, and drive continuous security improvements.
- Develop security documentation, standards, and knowledge transfer materials to support internal capability development.
Skills & Requirements:-- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or security compliance for enterprise platforms.
- Strong experience implementing security governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Experience with security accreditation, audits, and compliance processes in regulated environments.
- Hands-on experience implementing data privacy controls, including data masking, anonymisation, and protection of personally identifiable information (PII).
- Experience securing cloud platforms, with knowledge of AWS security services preferred.
- Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM), encryption, network security, logging, monitoring, and incident response.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
