Key responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of HVAC and chiller project implementation, from planning and design to installation and commissioning
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety protocols and industry regulations
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders and subcontractors to manage project timelines, budgets and expectations
- Identify and mitigate risks, and implement contingency plans to ensure project delivery
- Lead and mentor a team of project engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
- Continuously seek ways to optimise processes, introduce new technologies and drive innovation
- Provide input on project proposals and contribute to the development of engineering solutions
Requirements
- Min 3 -5 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Lead Project Engineer in the HVAC/chiller industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects from inception to completion
- Excellent technical knowledge of HVAC and chiller systems, including design, installation, commissioning and maintenance
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and adapt to changing requirements
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, contractors and team members
- Relevant engineering Diploma/degree or professional certification in HVAC/chiller systems
