We are hiring on behalf of our client, a leading technology consultancy delivering mission-critical digital solutions across government, defence, and enterprise sectors.
As a Lead Product Designer, you will drive user-centred design across the full product lifecycle-from research and concept validation to delivery and continuous improvement.
This is a consultative role, where you will not only design high-impact digital experiences but also coach client design teams to build long-term capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct user research (interviews, usability testing, field studies) to uncover user needs
- Translate insights into actionable design decisions and product direction
- Lead end-to-end design across cross-functional teams, from concept to high-fidelity outputs
- Create workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and scalable design systems
- Facilitate workshops (journey mapping, design sprints, critiques) with stakeholders
- Present design solutions to senior leadership and drive alignment
- Coach and mentor designers through pairing and structured enablement
- Promote a strong design culture focused on collaboration, feedback, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience across the full UX/UI design lifecycle
- Strong background in user research, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping
- Proven experience in client-facing or consultancy environments
- Expertise in Figma and modern design tools
- Experience building and maintaining design systems
- Familiarity with design methodologies such as Design Thinking, JTBD, Service Design, and inclusive design (WCAG)
- Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills
- Experience mentoring or coaching designers
- Bonus: Familiarity with SG Gov Design System (SGDS), SHIP-HATS, or experience working with public sector clients
