Our client is a leader in the Water Treatment industry in Singapore. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Senior Process and Mechanical Engineer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in Singapore.
Job Responsibilities
- Review and clarify project scope and contractual requirements with clients to establish the technical basis for contracts.
- Support project management in tracking and updating process deliverables and engineering schedules.
- Develop and document process philosophies, including control, startup, and shutdown strategies.
- Design and prepare key process documents such as PFDs, UFDs, P&IDs, heat and mass balances, and safety-related diagrams.
- Conduct equipment and line sizing calculations, including hydraulic analyses for pumps, filters, vessels, and tanks.
- Prepare, review, and resolve technical queries with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform water treatment process studies and prepare related engineering reports and summaries.
- Generate process datasheets and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate engineering inputs and ensure consistency.
- Review vendor documents and participate in process and safety studies, ensuring compliance with project standards.
- Contribute to manuals, training materials, and final submittals; attend meetings, track changes, and document lessons learned.
Requirement
- Min Degree in Chemical Engineering and/or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical)
- At least 6- 8 years of experience in Water and Waste Treatment or Oil and Gas onshore/offshore experience.
- Knowledge in designing of complex industrial water treatment systems
- Experience in project management / plant testing & commissioning / facility setup will be an added advantage
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project, good report writing skills
- Willing to travel overseas
