Lead PMS Engineer | Marine / Offshore | FPSO E-House | Singapore
We're currently on the lookout for Power Management System (PMS) solutions for FPSO, Offshore Marine and E-House projects, and are looking for an experienced Lead PMS Engineer to join their engineering team.
This is a technical lead position, responsible for leading the engineering and coordination of PMS deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
The role is not a hands-on commissioning position but focuses on system engineering, client engagement and engineering management.
Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering and execution of Power Management System (PMS) projects for FPSOs, Offshore Platforms, Marine Vessels and E-House modules.
- Gather and clarify client technical requirements, review specifications, and coordinate engineering deliverables with customers, project managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Review and manage IEC 61850 engineering deliverables including CID/SCD files, GOOSE, MMS, IED configurations and substation communication architecture.
- Support the design and review of hardware engineering, control panel layouts, electrical schematics, and software engineering deliverables for PMS applications.
- Ensure engineering deliverables are completed in accordance with project schedules, client specifications and quality requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to engineering teams and support FAT activities, system integration and issue resolution where required.
Technical Requirements
- Strong experience with Power Management Systems (PMS).
- Solid knowledge of IEC 61850, GOOSE, MMS, CID/SCD files, HSR, PRP, Ring Topologies, and Wireshark.
- Experience in hardware engineering, panel builder review, software engineering, and substation/marine communication networks.
- Previous experience delivering PMS solutions for FPSO, Offshore Marine, E-House, Oil & Gas or Marine Electrical systems.
- Experience with ABB, Hitachi Energy, or their system integrators/partners is highly preferred.
