Role Overview
SPH Media is looking for a commercially driven Performance & Outcomes Marketing Lead to drive the next phase of growth for SPH Media's integrated performance advertising and outcomes-based marketing business.
This role will lead the development of scalable, performance-led commercial solutions across SPH Media's ecosystem, spanning digital, social, print, audio, content, data, events, and omnichannel media assets.
The ideal candidate is not simply a campaign manager, but a strategic operator who understands how to connect media, audience, data, storytelling, and commercial outcomes into scalable solutions that drive measurable business impact for clients.
This role will also play a key leadership function in strengthening team capability, improving operational structure, and building stronger alignment across Sales, Ad Products, Editorial, Audience, and Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Revenue Leadership
- Drive the growth of SPH Media's performance and outcomes-based advertising business
- Develop scalable media and audience solutions focused on measurable client outcomes
- Partner closely with Sales teams to strengthen performance-led revenue generation
- Build integrated cross-platform commercial solutions leveraging SPH Media's full ecosystem of assets
- Support strategic client and agency conversations around performance, attribution, data, and ROI
Strategic Planning & Solutioning
- Develop repeatable performance marketing frameworks and sales enablement tools
- Build performance narratives and outcome-focused proposals for clients
- Guide media strategy across direct, programmatic, content, social, audio, and audience products
- Identify monetisation opportunities across SPH Media's inventory and audience segments
- Strengthen campaign measurement, reporting, and optimisation frameworks
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Mentor and guide the performance marketing team
- Build clearer operating structures, workflows, and accountability across the function
- Elevate the team from campaign execution toward strategic performance consultancy
- Improve collaboration across internal stakeholders and reduce operational bottlenecks
- Foster a culture of commercial ownership, accountability, and continuous learning
Operational Excellence
- Improve workflow efficiency and speed-to-market for performance solutions
- Drive stronger visibility on campaign delivery, optimisation, and revenue impact
- Build scalable frameworks for performance reporting and post-campaign insights
- Strengthen alignment between media strategy, execution, and commercial objectives

Requirements
- 10+ years experience across performance marketing, media strategy, publisher monetisation, agency strategy, or digital advertising
- Strong understanding of digital media ecosystems, audience strategy, and performance optimisation
- Experience managing integrated campaigns across multiple media channels
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate business needs into scalable solutions
- Experience working cross-functionally across Sales, Product, Editorial, Ad Ops, and Analytics teams
- Proven ability to lead teams, mentor talent, and improve operational effectiveness
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
- Familiarity with programmatic, attribution, audience strategy, and data-driven marketing preferred
