Responsibilities
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews with Singapore HQ.
- Translate 2D/3D design drawings into manufacturable processes, BOM, and engineering documentation.
- Define full process workflows (material machining sheet metal welding surface treatment assembly).
- Oversee sample builds, validation, and process optimization.
- Develop Manufacturing Instructions and Work Instructions.
- Drive continuous improvement, root-cause analysis, and MRB activities.
- Standardize components across product lines to reduce cost and complexity.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
- 10+ years in manufacturing/production engineering aerospace/automotive/precision equipment preferred.
- Strong hands-on background in CNC machining & metal stamping (mandatory).
- Proficient in engineering drawing analysis & process design.
- Familiar with Lean, RCA, and continuous improvement tools.
- Knowledge of ISO9001 / AS9100 / IATF16949 and SAP is preferred.
