Lead Engineer

. Managing the day-to-day planning and engineering initiatives for the project.

. Analysing project specifications, developing the work scope and delegate task plan to the supervisors.

. Support for project functions, e.g. Site Management, Project Control Management, Engineering Management, Procurement, Construction Management, etc.

. Assist M&E Manager to monitor site progress against budget and forecast schedule.

. Ensure EHS and QA/QC standards of works by trade cons are met.

. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of works progress to M&E Manager.

. Identify and notify M&E Manager of any additional works or changes that constitute a variation.

. Always ensure coordination and communication with all trade cons.

. Attend trade cons coordination meeting and coordinate / resolve the technical matters among trade cons.

. Support M&E Assistant Manager / Manager on preparation of commercial documents for change requests, commercial variations etc.

. Prepare M&E Combined Services Drawing (CSD), M&E Reflected Ceiling Plan (RCP), M&E Services relating to Structural items.

. Prepare meeting minutes for internal project meeting.

. Manage project closeout and obtain all warranties for final acceptance.

. Support tender processes inclusive the quantity take-off from the tender documents.

. Prepare and control the progress of RFA, RFI, Shop Drawings, Technical Submissions and Equipment/Material Procurement/Fabrication/Delivery Status for on-time completion.

. Coordinate with client's representatives, consultants, and subcontractors on all technical matters, including submission of method statement, drawings, materials, samples and work progress.

. Responsible for conducting QA/QC inspection, managing RE, RTO and responsible for clearing QA/QC inspections to meet with construction schedule.

. Provide and maintain all site inspection records up to date.

. Be observant to the daily site operation, attend to arising site issues and report to Construction Manager.

Attend to site incidents and prepare preliminary site incident report.
