Lead Engineer (Electrical) – Data Centre
We are currently looking for an experienced Lead Engineer (Electrical) to support major Data Centre projects. This opportunity is ideal for senior electrical engineering professionals with strong contractor-side or EPC experience and proven capability managing mission-critical electrical infrastructure within fast-paced project environments.
The successful candidate will play a key role in leading electrical engineering activities, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and supporting the successful delivery of large-scale Data Centre developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering scope across Data Centre project execution phases
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, clients, and internal engineering teams
- Review and manage electrical engineering deliverables including drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Support critical infrastructure systems including power distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear, and backup power systems
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and engineering best practices
- Manage technical coordination and interface activities across multidisciplinary teams
- Support construction and commissioning teams in resolving technical issues
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Strong contractor-side or EPC project experience is highly preferred
- Proven experience in Lead Engineer, Senior Electrical Engineer, or similar leadership role
- Strong understanding of Data Centre or mission-critical electrical systems
- Experience managing electrical engineering scope within large-scale projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills
- Ability to work effectively within fast-paced project environments
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting hyperscale or large-scale Data Centre projects
- Exposure to mission-critical infrastructure and critical power systems
- Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems and facility reliability requirements
