Reporting to: General Manager (E-Commerce E2E Management)
Purpose
We are looking for a high-energy, pure hunter Sales Lead to spearhead our B2B growth engine. Your mission is to scale our e-commerce grocery footprint by aggressively acquiring high-value corporate and institutional accounts. You will be responsible for the full sales cyclefrom cold prospecting and tendering to closing high-margin contracts within the Government, Education, and Non-Profit sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Acquisition (The Hunter Role): Identify and close new B2B partnerships, focusing on Gold Tier institutional clients (Government, Schools, Charities) and Silver Tier corporate pantry
- Tiered Portfolio Management: Implement a tiered sales strategy:
- Gold: Secure high-volume, long-term tenders and institutional contracts.
- Silver: Sign recurring corporate pantry and employee benefit (CED) deals.
- Bronze: Onboard SME accounts onto our digital self-serve platform.
- Margin-Driven Growth: Achieve GP targets by acquiring corporate customers through selling B2B value-added services, premium bundles, and strategic pantry solutions
- Stakeholder Navigation: Map and influence key decision-makers (Procurement Heads, HR Directors, Office Managers) within large target organizations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Logistics and Ops to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients and transition accounts to the Account Management team once stabilized.
Job Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- The Hunter Mentality: 58 years in B2B sales, specifically in business development or new account acquisition. Start-Up experience is desired
- Sector Expertise: Experience selling into Government agencies, Educational institutions, or Large Corporates is highly preferred.
- E-commerce/FMCG Fluency: Understanding of e-commerce metrics (GMV, AOV, Conversion) and grocery supply chain dynamics is preferred, but not required
- Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to manage complex tenders and multi-year contract negotiations.
- Data-Driven: Ability to use internal analytics to track pipeline velocity and forecast monthly GMV contributions and activities
