Overview

We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to drive advanced analytics, machine learning initiatives, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic influence, working closely with business, engineering, and leadership teams to turn complex data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning and advanced analytics models

• Translate business problems into data science solutions that deliver measurable impact

• Guide and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts, setting best practices and standards

• Work closely with stakeholders to define use cases, success metrics, and analytics roadmaps

• Oversee data exploration, feature engineering, model validation, and performance monitoring

• Partner with data engineering teams to ensure scalable and reliable data pipelines

• Communicate insights and model outcomes clearly to non-technical stakeholders

• Stay current with emerging trends in AI, ML, and data science methodologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field

• 7+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or applied machine learning

• Proven experience leading end-to-end data science projects

• Strong proficiency in Python / R, SQL, and common ML frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)

• Solid understanding of statistics, predictive modeling, and data mining

• Experience working with large datasets and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred)

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Experience mentoring or leading data teams is highly desirable

Nice to Have

• Exposure to MLOps, model deployment, and monitoring in production environments
• Experience in domains such as manufacturing, engineering, operations, finance, or large-scale enterprise systems
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
