Lead Consultant (Advocacy and Protection), UPME

We are seeking a highly effective Lead Consultant to join the Advocacy and Protection Team, dedicated to providing workplace advisory support and benefits to Professionals, Managers and Executives (PMEs).

In this role, you will contribute individually and assist in managing and mentoring a small team to enhance PMEs awareness of their employment rights and obligations in Singapore by providing guidance and support through workplace advisory support, mediation services and workshops.

Your responsibilities will include facilitating discussions, developing measures and creating strategies to meet the departments needs. You should excel at communicating and engaging multiple stakeholders and moving strategies into implementation.

Job Responsibilities

• Negotiate, coordinate, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders on engagement of PMEs
• Assist to guide and mentor the team in creating greater awareness amongst PMEs on knowing their employment rights and options to seek help. Help edit, vet, and/or craft compelling stories to be shared on social media.
• Supervise, organise, and support annual corporate planning sessions and seminars (to conceptualise teams workplan, provide analysis and insights to support and guide team in decision-making.)
• Oversee, prepare, and present regular reports and topical presentations
• Other duties as required to support organisations goals.

Job Requirements

• At least 10 years experience in Human Resources or Employment Relations
• In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
• Project management, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Meticulous, self-driven, and able to multi-task
• Experience in team leadership
