Job Description

The role, based in Singapore, will be key in developing and executing CME Group brand marketing, social communications and media strategy in the APAC region to boost brand awareness, engage our community and drive digital content in multiple languages. The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams across the exchange to ensure our media presence aligns with CME Group business objectives and brand vision in the APAC region. Content development and distribution will be a key focus, working to deliver quality messaging through video via single-release or multi-part series. The scope of work for this role focuses heavily on video production, video editing and motion graphic design for various uses, but also some interactive design.

Role and responsibilities:

- Video production supporting CME Group business lines, APAC regional offices and APAC priority initiatives (internal and external).


- Execute translations and localization efforts of existing CME Group video content for APAC region. Work includes, but is not limited to localizing post-production video, animations and educational content in key APAC languages (SC, TC, KO, JP).


- Develop and create both static and video content for APAC regional web, social and paid media placements. Managing end-to-end production to distribution with various content delivery networks.


- Support regional leadership with speaking engagements and digital media communications.


- Support in-person media requirements for in-person gatherings throughout the APAC region, covering sophisticated digital content, custom signage, and premium photography.


- Act as back-up support for the social media team during regional and non U.S. social operating hours.


- Execute initiatives for the business, provide insight on best practices for workflow, and deliver quality results in a timely fashion.


- Ability to communicate and influence assertively in English, clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally.

- Ensure content is in compliance with CME Group brand guidelines and global visuals.


- Analyze and manage monthly reporting on global video metrics across channels.

Job Requirements:

- 8+ years of experience in content development within a financial services exchange or firm.

- 8+ years of experience with professional on-set production equipment, including digital cinema cameras, three-point lighting, boom and wireless audio setups.

- Expert knowledge (8+ years exp) with Adobe Creative Cloud with a focus in Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator. 3D workspace and other experience a plus.

- Live video production environments, including experience with digital PTZ cameras and video switchers.

-Excellent organizational skills Takes ownership over work and ensures its timely completion ability to work independently.

- Possess a strong understanding of the APAC regional landscape across different languages.

- Knowledge of various encoding, compression and delivery formats, including QuickTime Formats (.mov), MPEG-2, H.264, HDTV, VP9 and AV1.

- Proficient with cloud content delivery networks (CDN) and on-premises digital asset management (DAM) systems.

- Must be highly computer-literate in MacOS, fluent with Google Workspace tools and all basic MS Office components.

- Understanding of financial industry concepts and terms.

- Proven professional experience operating in a multilingual, international, or Asia-Pacific (APAC) market-focused environment, accompanied by demonstrated proficiency in at least one (1) APAC business language beyond English.

- This position may have to carry and move equipment up to 25 lbs regularly.

- Bachelor's degree required in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field. Masters preferred.
