Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior AWS Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to lead hybrid infrastructure operations spanning AWS Cloud and enterprise on-prem environments. This role involves team leadership, solution design, modernization projects, and cross-functional collaboration across Endpoint, Network, and Security domains.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a distributed infrastructure engineering team to deliver reliable hybrid cloud and on-premises solutions
- Architect and implement hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure integrating AWS and Windows environments to support business needs
- Manage and optimize Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, DNS, GPO, VMware ESXi, Nutanix HCI, and enterprise storage systems to ensure operational excellence
- Drive infrastructure automation by developing and maintaining Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell scripts to increase efficiency and reduce manual errors
- Support cloud governance by enforcing security compliance, cost optimization, and disaster recovery strategies aligned with organizational policies
- Serve as the technical escalation point for resolving complex infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and service continuity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Network, Endpoint, and Security to lead modernization initiatives that enhance infrastructure capabilities
- Apply ITIL and ISO standards to maintain compliance and improve operational frameworks across infrastructure services
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience managing hybrid infrastructure environments
- Minimum 3 years of experience deploying or managing AWS cloud services
- Proven experience leading or mentoring infrastructure engineering teams
- Strong collaboration skills working with Network, Endpoint, and Security teams
- Familiarity with governance and operational frameworks such as ITIL, ISO27001, and ISO20000
