Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Strategy:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Application Solutions Specialists, providing direction, support, and career development opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategies for IT infrastructure management, ensuring alignment with business needs and future digitalization goals.
  • Lead the digital transformation for IT infrastructure across both on-premise and Azure environments, fostering operational excellence.
  • Lead automation initiatives, including robotics and warehouse automation, ensuring they are effectively implemented and integrated with existing systems.
  • Digital Solutions Implementation:
  • Oversee the creation and deployment of new systems in collaboration with business stakeholders to ensure they meet functional, security, and scalability requirements.
  • Provide strategic oversight of system architecture, ensuring the successful integration of new technologies into existing infrastructure.
  • Work closely with business units to develop custom automation tools, ensuring seamless integration across applications and systems.
  • IT Infrastructure & EUC Operations:
  • Ensure the delivery of reliable and secure IT infrastructure services, covering network management, server operations, and EUC.
  • Develop and enforce lifecycle management processes, ensuring hardware and systems are kept up to date with timely upgrades and decommissioning plans.
  • Best Practices & Continuous Improvement:
  • Foster a culture of operational excellence by driving the implementation of best practices across IT operations, with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and security.
  • Continuously assess the digital landscape and introduce improvements to ensure sustainable and future-proof IT systems.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
  • Work closely with IT, security, finance, and business teams to deliver integrated solutions that support business objectives across the SG & SEA region.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for senior management regarding digital solutions and infrastructure matters.
  • Compliance & Security:
  • Ensure the application and IT infrastructure comply with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, with a particular focus on data security and privacy.
  • Business Continuity & Risk Management:
  • Lead risk assessments and ensure disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place, mitigating any potential disruptions to operations.
