About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced AI Security Manager to lead the development and implementation of security strategies that protect AI technologies across the organisation.

This role is ideal for cybersecurity professionals who are passionate about securing Generative AI, AI platforms, machine learning applications, and emerging technologies while partnering with business and technology stakeholders to drive secure AI adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement enterprise AI security strategies, standards, and governance practices.
• Assess AI-related cybersecurity risks and recommend appropriate security controls.
• Secure AI applications, AI assistants, automation platforms, and machine learning solutions.
• Lead AI security assessments, vulnerability management, and remediation initiatives.
• Monitor emerging AI threats and strengthen organisational readiness against evolving attack techniques.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, application, risk, and business teams to embed security into AI initiatives.
• Support AI security incident response, threat investigations, and continuous improvement activities.
• Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to enhance AI security capabilities.
• Present security recommendations and risk updates to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of cybersecurity experience, with exposure to AI security, machine learning security, DevSecOps, application security, cloud security, or AI governance.
• Hands-on experience securing AI applications, Generative AI solutions, LLMs, AI automation platforms, or enterprise machine learning environments will be advantageous.
• Familiarity with AI security concepts such as:AI risk managementResponsible AISecure AI developmentAI governanceThreat modellingSecurity architecture
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and industry standards is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH or equivalent will be an advantage.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
