Laundry Operator - 2 Year Contract

Job Purpose

Operator in Laundry operation to process soiled linen and prepare cleaned linen for delivery according to customers specification and requirement.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

. Operate laundry's machinery and equipment according to the operating manual.

. Sort soiled linen according to specification before washing process.

. Conduct quality control on cleaned linen before delivery according to quality standards.

. Packing linen for hospitals Operating Theatre and CSSD department according to hospitals specification.

. Remove any unacceptable linen (stained/torn/poor finishing) and foreign object detected during process.

. Loading washed linen and unloading of soiled linen from laundry vehicles daily.

. Wash and sanitizing of linen trolleys daily where applicable.

. Check, count and prepare delivery order for cleaned linen before delivery.

. Perform job rotation as required

. Able to perform shift work and working on weekend and Public Holidays.

. Able to perform duty at customers site on soiled linen collection and distribute cleaned linen when required.

. Follow WSH practices and regulations. Identify and recognize workplace risks and hazards if any.

. Surrender any cash/valuable items found during process and hand over to supervisor on duty
