LAST MILE DELIVERY DRIVER (VAN)

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Last-Mile Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely, efficiently, and accurately delivering packages to customers homes or businesses during the final stage of the delivery process. The ideal candidate is punctual, detail-oriented, and committed to providing an excellent delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, organize, and secure packages in the delivery vehicle according to route sequence.

• Safely operate a company vehicle while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

• Perform timely deliveries to residential and commercial locations.

• Use handheld devices or mobile apps to scan packages, confirm delivery, and capture proof-of-delivery.

• Provide exceptional customer service, including handling delivery concerns with professionalism and courtesy.

• Communicate delays, incidents, or route issues to the dispatch or operations team.

• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.

• Ensure packages are delivered in good condition and follow proper handling procedures.

• Follow safety protocols to minimize risks during driving and delivery activities.

• Assist with warehouse tasks (sorting, loading, returns) as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

• Valid driver's Class 3/ 3A license with a clean driving record.

• Previous experience in delivery, courier, or transportation roles is a plus.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull packages up to 50 lbs .

• Comfortable working in various weather conditions.

• Strong time-management and navigation skills.

• Basic proficiency with smartphones, GPS, and delivery apps.

• Dependable, self-motivated, and customer-service-oriented.

Work Environment & Schedule

• Shifts may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

• Fast-paced environment with frequent stops and physical activity.

• Uniform and safety gear may be provided.
