Responsibilities
- Lashing Specialists secure and unsecure containers on vessels, berth and unberth vessels.
- Carry out wharf operations such as coning and de-coning and water bunkering operations.
- Ensure that all safety precautions/rules are complied to and to report if any accident/incident arises
Requirements
- Able to commit to a shift-based roster
- Able to commit to 12-hour shifts
- Able to work at heights (applicable for lashing positions only)
- Physically Fit
- PSLE English Pass is required as instructions are given in English.
- Place of work: PSA Pasir Panjang Port
Training is provided for all new joiners & experienced workers.
Joining Bonus
Need training receives a Joining Bonus of
$6000 over a span of 3 years
No training required receives a Joining Bonus of
$7500
Performance Bonus
Up to
$1,800 per year depending on performance
