Due to growth in customers and in new markets, EOS is looking for multiple Laser System subject matter experts responsible for employing structured, systematic approaches within a team environment to solve problems using laser systems engineering methods. This role is pivotal in integrating innovative, multidisciplinary concepts into new products and systems.
Candidates must independently explore core principles, design experiments, and document findings to support the Research & Development and Engineering teams. The roles require expertise in control system design, opto-electronics, mechanical design, instrument manufacturing and assembly, system integration, and system interfaces. The optical systems developed must meet defined requirements and be delivered according to agreed schedules.
It is crucial that candidates can design, develop, and integrate advanced laser systems for a wide range of applications. This position demands expertise in laser physics, opto-mechanical design, and system engineering. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of laser systems throughout their lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
The candidate must adhere to governance standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives, maintaining the highest levels of integrity, safety, and ethics in all designs. This role also contributes to the development of products and designs that align with EOS product development objectives and goals
Design and Development: Design, develop, and test laser systems and components to meet customer specifications and industry standards.
Technical Support: Provide technical support for laser systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Performance Analysis: Analyze the performance of laser systems and make necessary adjustments to optimize functionality.
Safety Procedures: Develop and implement safety procedures for the handling and operation of laser systems.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation related to the design, operation, and maintenance of laser systems.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including research, production, and sales, to implement new laser technologies and ensure project success.
Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of laser equipment to ensure longevity and reliability.
